We recently caught up with Aleck who works here at USS Investment Management Limited to discuss all things ethical investing. He was joined by Zahra and Nick from BMO, who are one of our external fund managers. BMO manage a significant portion of our members’ money that’s invested ethically. They’ve been engaging, voting and investing in responsible assets since 1984, so they know a thing or two about ethical investing.
We invest ethically to give members the option to make investment choices based on their own ethical or moral principles, and also to deliver a good financial return.
