A factor is a number that we use in our calculations to work out what your Retirement Income Builder benefits will be, based on the retirement decisions you make. So, if you retire before or after your Normal Pension Age, or exchange some pension to increase your lump sum, or vice versa, we may use these factors to work out what you’ll get.
