USS awarded Gold accreditation from Investors in People

Universities Superannuation Scheme’s Pensions Operations team has achieved the coveted Investors in People Gold accreditation.

The award follows Pensions Operations achieving the Customer Service Excellence (CSE) accreditation for the second year in succession, with compliance-plus achieved in three areas.

The IIP award – which has four tiers (Standard, Silver, Gold and Platinum) – reflects the quality of the processes and procedures in place to lead, support and develop the team, and our commitment to investing in our people and providing members with high quality services and experiences.

Stephen Worthington, USS’s Pensions Operations & Service Executive, said: “Positive member experiences will only ever be realised by creating a culture and work environment that actively supports and nurtures the people who are delivering that service.

“This award complements the CSE award we’ve achieved and recognises the support networks, structure and systems we have in place so our team knows what great member service looks like, how they can provide it, and where they can go to for help if they need it.”
