Victoria Timlin appointed to USS Investment Management Limited Board
Universities Superannuation Scheme Limited (or USS) – the trustee of one of the largest pension schemes in the UK – is delighted to announce Victoria Timlin’s upcoming appointment as a new director to the USS Investment Management Limited (USSIM) Board.
Victoria has been USSIM’s Chief Operating Officer since April 2021 and sits on both the USS Group Executive Committee and USSIM’s Executive Committee. She has a proven track record of driving the end to end USSIM support operating model, infrastructure and associated control framework, as well as supporting change delivery for the business and coordinating USSIM’s strategic planning processes.

Victoria is a qualified Chartered Accountant who, since 2007, has worked in a range of senior audit, governance, compliance, and operations roles in the UK financial services industry. Victoria joined USS in 2015 as Head of Governance and moved to be Chief Compliance Officer in 2017, before being promoted to Deputy Chief Operating Officer in 2019 and Chief Operating Officer in 2021.
The USSIM Board is made up of executives and non-executive directors who, between them, hold a wealth of investment, financial and operational expertise that helps ensure the smooth governance and oversight of USSIM’s investment activities for the scheme and its members.
